I’m excited to start this new school year and build relationships with our staff, students, and members of the community. I am lucky to be joining such a great district and I look forward to what is to come. As soon as I stepped into Grant Park, the GP Way was contagious. We put students first, we work as a team, and we make an impact every day.
I was born and raised in Kankakee County and I always heard excellent things about Grant Park. I’m excited that I’ve got an opportunity to continue that legacy and to work alongside Dr. Palan, our staff, and the Board of Education. There is no better place to be!
Grant Park offers our students many opportunities to grow as both people and learners. Our sports teams, music department, and other extracurriculars allow our students to create lasting bonds and friendships. We also push our students to achieve their full potential with our curriculum. We offer students the ability to learn hands-on trades at the Kankakee Area Career Center and they have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. These are experiences that will help our students find success in life.
